The Studio and Star Factory is a training ground, launchpad, and creative home for some of Australia’s most exceptional vocal and songwriting talent, both signed and unsigned.

We offer industry-connected opportunities for singers and songwriters, including carefully considered introductions to producers and established creatives.

With professional recording studios on-site, Studio artists can refine top-lining, arranging, recording, and music production skills, alongside their vocal training. Artists may also opt into our songwriting retreats, masterclasses, and live showcases.

Mentoring For Songwriters

Developing songwriting talent is one of our core areas of expertise. We are passionate about helping artists make music they are truly proud of.

Alongside regular co-writing and performance opportunities, Studio artists have access to private mentoring sessions designed to support progression, clarity, and creative confidence in their songwriting practice.

Areas of focus may include:

• Lyric & melody development
• Song structure
• Chord progressions
• Crafting memorable hooks
• Developing a signature sound
• Effective use of rhythm
• Home studio set-up
• Creating high-quality demo recordings
• Building a catalogue
• Preparing for industry meetings

Mentoring for songwriters is available weekly or fortnightly, in 45 or 60-minute sessions.
